I have been feeling fatigued for months on end and went here to get blood samples taken/lab work done. It was a spur of the moment decision when I felt close to passing out that day, which is why I decided on urgent care in my area. When I got there, the staff seemed very helpful and the doctor listened to what I said. I told him I had been severely vitamin D deficient last year (my count had been 9/30) and that could be the reason for my fatigue again these past couple months. What does this doctor do? He orders lab tests for thyroid conditions and iron count but NOT vitamin D. What the hell?? Then when I finally get a phone call from ANOTHER doctor this week to discuss my lab results, that’s when I’m informed that they never tested for Vitamin D! On top of that, when I mention my history with Vitamin D deficiency, the doctor on the phone tells me “I have not known vitamin D deficiency to cause fatigue.” This man literally told me those exact words. Who the hell is giving these “doctors” a medical license here? They wanted to charge me another $48 for a Vitamin D test and I said no thank you, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. This place with its “doctors” should be shut down. No one knows what they are doing, they are only interested in milking your money and wasting your time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
